How to analysis protein gels and western blotting membranes,etc? You should choose White Light Table (optional) to check transparent protein gels.
When samples are opaque(such as western blotting membrane), the
White reflection light should be chosen to illuminate the top surface of the gels.
And which types of printers can be used? You can connect thermal, inkjet or laser printers to the computer.
Can the system be connected to a printer directly? No. Our systems (except for the Multi) don't have interface for printer. However you can connect the printer to the computer and then print the image of the gels. FluorShot Multi has an in-build computer, which means it has an interface for the printer.
Which operating systems should be used with the system? We recommend Windows XP (sp2) for the system.
Can the system be used standalone without a computer? Except for our latest FluorShot Multi system, other systems should be connected with the computer to save and analysis the image of the gels.
